Latest Update
Hello to you all, visitors, fans, friends, fellow artists and photographers.
I hope you are all well and enjoying 2012.
As I haven’t posted for a very long time you’d be forgiven for thinking that maybe I’d popped my clogs (died).
In reality I’ve been hibernating throughout the winter and once again my poor health has been a contributing factor. Since my last update I’ve been admitted into hospital twice for blood transfusions and it wont be long before I’ll be needing another one.
I am a member of the Parkwood Camera Club based at Gillingham in Kent UK. The members range from professional, experienced veterans to newcomers to the hobby and they are all a really friendly bunch. I have been amazed at the positive response to my work within the club and I am delighted that some of my work has been selected to represent the club in inter-club competitions.
If you live nearby why not pay us a visit ? please email me for contact details.
Just before Christmas we acquired two long-haired Jack Russell puppies (brothers) and whilst they make ideal photographic subjects, they chew just about anything and we spend most of our time prising bits of paper, fabric and plastic from their needle-sharp jaws. They work together to make our lives as difficult as they can but we’ve grown to love them in spite of the fact that the house looks like the aftermath of a visit from the Terminator !
Two of my images have just been licensed for inclusion in a new book, a novel based in Victorian England.
I have no idea when my next update will be posted but god willing, it wont be too long.
Tony Hayes
