Potty Train Your Dragon: How to Potty Train Your Dragon Who Is Scared to Poop. A Cute Children Story on How to Make Potty Training Fun and Easy. (My Dragon Books) (Volume 1) Reviews
Mostly happy until the final page when I’m reading to my son and the final words are requesting a positive review on Amazon. I also didn’t like that it takes half the book before the little boy even starts training his dragon to go potty. Calling the toilet the “John” or farting “breaking wind” wasn’t great either because it required additional explanations for my toddler who hadn’t heard those nicknames.
My son (3.5) and I keep this and a few other potty books in the bathroom for him. I love the dragon and so does my son! Cute story.
I read this with my 13 year old daughter and we loved it. The very fact the author doesn't shy away from something that is so natural and real to me says a lot. Kids are often afraid of something like potty training and this not only makes you smile but eases some fears. It is a really cute and endearing way of encouraging little ones to take the next step in becoming a big kid. The illustrations were beautifully done. It flows nicely and the witty moments are spot on. I'm going to share this book with a friend who is going through the joys of potty training a toddler for the first time. Awesome book!
Great book. My son loves dragons and he seems to enjoy beginning to sit in the potty now making reference to the dragon who did it!
My daughter was entertained, she liked the idea of the dragon using the potty. My son just makes dinosaur noises, he wasn't interested in using the potty, neither of the two (twins).
grandson wants to hear this book over and over...3 times in a sitting is our record...I gotta get up and find a new book after that. It actually does seem to be helping him with his training!
Cute rhyming story with adorable pictures that gets straight to the point. Would recommend to anyone with a potty-training child who is afraid to poo. My little one loved it. I won’t mind reading it over and over again.
My son loves it! It totally helped encourage potty training!
