Paper Doll Dress-Up: Fashion through the ages Reviews
Love this book with and about paper dolls. It was actually much more than I expected. Not the typical cheap paper doll book.
The dolls and outfits in this book are beautiful. I held off giving it to my daughter for a while though because my AR wouldn't let me watch her try to cut them out. Careful, sometimes precise, cutting is going to be needed for everything to fit together.
the tabs were difficult to use being somewhat small and often in the wrong places, esp for wigs and hats and other accessories. but the idea was lotsa fun for an 8 yr old ...
Beautiful selection of dolls and clothes. Am very pleased, as are my children.
You have to cut out everything (rather than having perforated dresses, etc.). But it's still a pretty book with great designs.
This was given as a gift to a woman who still enjoys cutting out paper dolls. The clothes depicted were of the right era for her, and I know she enjoyed this book.
Great concept for girls to learn about fashion and how it has evolved. It would have been perfect if the dolls and clothes (especially the dolls) had been punch out. Cutting them out was tedious for my granddaughter and difficult for me.
