Modern Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Reviews
This is a great book. I would have to agree that it goes into great depth in somethings and not so much in others. As far as HVAC goes, this book is very good at explaining the details of every system. I am not interested in refrigeration as much but if that is what you are looking for, there is really good detail about that as well. My only complaint is I wish they would make it in PDF form. Being almost 1300 pages and a hard back book makes this thing a GIANT so I don't really get to take this to work with me to study over it. I would recommend this book for anyone that is looking to self teach or needs it for a class.
Very complete and comprehensive! My book was 40 years old and this book is very updated! I gave this book to my son as a gift. He is a apprentice in the pipefitters union and is using the book for reference!! Thank You . Dennis J Mildon
Cost of the book is ridiculous but it’s the world we live in. Other than that this book has tons of info. I’m ready to go for my license and I wish I bought this book earlier you could learn more from this book than trade school
This book is expensive but definitely worth it to own one. Put it simple, it makes me understand how AC really works, I'd never fear for not knowing what I am talking about again, or say something without knowing its root cause.
This book is extremely helpful to the beginner. I definitely recommend buying it if you want to learn about hvac, but don't have the time to attend school for it.
And again another required textbook.
i hate reading it, but its mostly good,,, TOO DAMN heavy to read in bed,, wish i could get ebook
