Skyscrapers of Oz Reviews
Skyscrapers of Oz is so good! First, I must say that at the bottom of the cover, in all caps is the warning: "Absolutely not for children". They aren't kidding! :D The story and scenarios are very humorous and there is a lot of tongue-in-cheek innuendo and outright sexuality. ^_~
The art is nice and it's funny, but story and "action" was immensely underwhelming.
I enjoyed the story. The characters were fun. My daughter and I both agree that the story should have been longer. There is a lot going on between the main characters and with a longer story, those characters could have been developed more. As the book is now, it is a quick read.
Hot, capable guys. Impish, eager young men. A bit of a page turning storyline. The end is worth it. I only wish there was more.
It was amazing and sweet. I loved the story line. It had me laughing, crying, and smiling while I read it.
This Japanese Yaoi manga is "HOT"! . The drawings are top notch and the translation solid. Since this is based on a novel, the story line is better than most other Yaoi manga. The 4 guys are drop dead gorgeous. The bond and chemistry of the lovers is explicitly potrayed and simply sizzling. Do yourself a favor and get this. Meanwhile I will continue to drool over Yoichi, Miyuki, Mari and Yu. And yes, I also recommend "Kizuna" which is just as good.
I love yaoi. I hate this book.
And I am tip-toeing my way around. Most, so far, have been a bit disappointing. One I tried to follow, but couldn't tell one character from another. But this one. . .the art work is awesome, the storyline is great. When I get used to the set up (backwards) I'll be home free.
