I like the book a lot but unfortunately it was a bit jumbled up in its order. The Little Mermaid fairy tale gets interrupted by several pages that should have started the fairy tale section overall, and then the remainder of the Little Mermaid appears after that misplaced portion. Also, some pages are repeated. So it's a little hard to follow at these points. But the wolf descriptions sure made me see what I had been through and why it is so hard to recover after over 20 years with the beast.

One of three instruction manuals and self help pieces that helped me when I had no in person therapist or counselor. Easy to read and sounds authentic not pithy or hysterical but serious in a way a survivor will recognize

Helped me realize I was living with an emotional abuser. He shattered my world a year ago when I found out he was cheating on me and then he made it worse by telling me he wanted me to stick around in case his affair didn't work out. I moved out with our two teenage boys. Best decision I ever made. During the last year I have been reading anything that could help me heal. This book confirmed that I can't ever go back to him. It would take a miracle for him to change. I wish I would have known sooner that he was emotionally abusing me, but now I know what to look for. I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 because it has several errors.

I just found EXACTLY what I needed in this book. I've always used writing as a way to stay in touch with myself, but never really quite knew HOW to do it in an effective and meaningful way. I feel as if I just found this little treasure and I want ANYONE who has ever had a wolf in their bed to read this, more than once if necessary. I've read TONS of books on emotional abuse and finally I've found the one for me. I bet it's the one for many of you as well... Thank you Jill Harris!🖤🖤🖤

I have to admit, I brought this book for someone else (who I had been worried was in a 'bad' relationship) but I started flicking through it before I gave it to her and got totally hooked!
