Life Just Got Real: A Live Original Novel (Live Original Fiction) Reviews
The novel is fun and interesting, with a unique plot. There are some grammar, punctuation, and typo mistakes, but they do not take away from the overall message of the book. Evryone loves a cheesy and heartwarming story at least once in a while, and this one is exactly that. The characters have very relatable struggles, and get through them by leaning on God.
My 14.5 year old daughter wasn't sure what to expect when I laid this book on her desk but she ended up picking it up one night and couldn'f put it down. She lovedit! It was an enjoyable and relatable story, that contained a valuable message - especially for today's tween and teens. It was free of inappropriate language and sexual inuendos - which is refreshing. She did wonder if there were anymore (or would be anymore) in the series.
While reading this book, I felt as if I was reading a bit of story of Sadie's life in reading about A.J. A.J is girl from Louisiana who just moved to Tennessee with her mother and brother for a new start as her father recently passed a couple of years ago. A.J will be starting her Junior year of high school at a prep school. This is where she meets the other main character Kate Kelly, Kate is a nice girl, but she is a material girl. She is Junior class president, a girl who is in charge of everything, but at the same time, she lives in a world where she kind of thinks your only as good as your money.
Great book, with a good message for girls in High School.
I loved this book! Very encouraging and a fun read! My only complaint was that it wasn't longer! I'd love to see more books in this series👍🏼
This book was a big surprise. I loved Sadie's writing!
I’m surprised at how much I liked this book and how I was captivated since the moment I started reading. I thought it would be a silly teen book but I have to say that I actually enjoyed it too and I’m in my mid twenties. I wish there was a sequel.
