The description Amazon provides for 3 stars is "It's okay." That's exactly how I feel. The information in this book was good, but in no way was the information "deep." The price is outrageous. I selected this book for a self-designed college course but found it to be high school level at best. I used it as a starting point for deeper research and learning tangents. The material is presented in very accessible ways and the chapters are concise. If this book was a fourth of the price I would rate it higher. I would not recommend this for higher education but would recommend it for someone who knows nothing about any of the topics covered. The identification chapters were pretty weak.
