I read this book three years after it was recommended to me. I guess I wasn't ready, earlier. It is the most amazing work that I've picked up in a long time. It brings together so many concepts, teachings, and wisdom all in one place.

Jean-Claude Koven's "Going Deeper: How to Make Sense of Your Life" is one of my favorite books. I've read this book several times and always find something new to consider. Having purchased multiple copies for friends, their response has been the same. Wow!

Going Deeper offers an excellent synthesis of ancient wisdom, new thought, and the experiences gained from Jean-Claude Koven's own personal wanderings. His ability to fuse seemingly unrelated material into a coherent book was inspired, as was his choice of the protagonist's teacher - a telepathic dog. His playful dialog keeps the mood light, while introducing some profound concepts. All readers, whether new to the spiritual path or highly experienced, will gain some insight from this work, if not a deeper view of who we are and what is our life purpose.

I finished this book in September and feel a sense of anew-ness in all aspects of my being. I even copied the lessons in the book for my daily spiritual practice. Jean-Claude Koven did a dynamic job on writing this joyous and enlightening story. Before this book, I didn't know anything about wanderers, yet I had many questions and experiences such as Larry. I feel a sense of revelation.

I just finished reading your book and am completely fascinated with it. The opening paragraph in the introduction struck me so profoundly that I couldn't put the book down. I am already trying to put the principles in the book to use in my personal/professional life ... the book is wonderful, profound and certainly life changing.

Going Deeper is one of the most fascinating, inspiring spiritual books I have read in a long time. It covers the gamut of spiritual teachings in an engaging and delightful manner. I would recommend it to anyone interested in expanding their spiritual awareness.

I was surprised at all the super positive reviews this book rec'd when it first came out. It just seems to be trying too hard to be entertaining in trying to deliver its messages. Some of the "forced" jokes, writing style just got to be annoying at times.

The book is too "far out" for me..I expected practical steps & at the start it was just too spacey !and I never got into it..I will try again..
