Creative Whack Pack Reviews
I love this and had used it 15+ years ago so bought it for one of my teammates who was starting out in his career. Great way to stimulate creativity and ideas, especially when you're stuck. If your problem was an animal, what would it be?
Not exactly what I expected. I thought it was going to be some more really creative activities. The book is AWESOME, but the cards are so-so.
I think everyone should have a pack of this cards because everyone sometimes feels stuck with a problem to the point that he is unaware of other possible solutions. The ideas in this pack help to look at the perplexing issue from many different perspectives. Sooner or later one may see the light, an open door, most likely many, many doors leading to numerous possible solutions. These cards are a valuable tool for brainstorming ideas, prompting the person to think of ideas that might have never crossed his mind otherwise. The wonderful think about coming out with creative ideas is that you also have lots of laughs while you're doing it because you begin to think of wild, whacky and outrageously fun things.
Believe it or not, we have used this pack to help make decisions. What it does is simply cause one to stop and consider a bit more carefully what you might be doing.
These cards were purchased as based on a recommendation of a friend. I frankly, did not think much about it. Boy, was I wrong!
At first reading of the instructions of how to use the cards, it was intimidating. So what I did was read them one-by-one and enjoyed the illustrations. Once I had one that, I then started reading each group and what it was suppose to do. It was freeing and expanding my thinking almost right away. Then I started with the exercises. Even though I am still doing exercise #1, I really am enjoying it, I know it is time to move on to exercise #2 and #3.
If you're finding yourself stuck on a project, or just can't seem to get started, I'd recommend you purchase the Creative Whack Pack. Each card represents a different action you should be taking, and one of them is "ask a fool"... Well, this fool's telling you it's worth your time.
bought these for my husband. he is really enjoying the prompts!
