Faberge: Lost and Found : The Recently Discovered Jewelry Designs from the St. Petersburg Archives Reviews
I am privileged to know the daughter of the young man who kept his company's records of what they made for Faberge and who saw the importance of caring for them in this book form. It is beautifully done, and thankfully led to similar work by others. I am endlessly fascinated with the genius of Faberge especially his interest in animals and nature. Faberge is a unique genius and we can only hope for more of them.
This is a great book. For people that love Faberge jewelry, this is a great book to have. Many photos.
Great amazing book of rare Imperial Russian art!!!!
This book reproduces 2 original faberge design books found in St Petersburg. They cover the years 1909 to 1915. Before Faberge sold an item they drew it in these ledgers in watercolour and noted all the details of the stones and materials it was made of.
This book was inspired by an idea of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis's in her role as a book editor.
This is a beautiful book! It made a perfect gift for my mother!
