My Couch is Your Couch: Exploring How People Live Around the World Reviews
Fascinating. Not everyone lives like we do but there are kind, hospitable people. Crazy ones too!
Really lovely stories from places I never would have thought of visiting or even heard of. I wish some of them were longer!
I won this book through a Goodreads giveaway. This wonderful book explores couchsurfing through intriguing and often amusing portraits and brief stories of hosts around the world. Revealing the diversity of both the homes and the people who inhabit them, these pictures take us on a fascinating journey. Each accompanying biography tell us a little about the work and lifestyles, hopes and dreams of couchsurfing hosts, young and old. I was so interested in exploring this community about which I previously knew very little, I may be moved to become a host and/or guest myself. A thoroughly delightful and enjoyable book from Italian photographer Gabriele Galimberti.
