Ties that Bind (Ribbons West) (No 3) Reviews
of the “Ribbons West” series focuses on Jordana, the completion of the transcontinental railroad and all the challenges attendant to that life altering event. The character of Captain Rich becomes much more central in this volume as the other siblings become secondary to Jordana. The story also becomes a bit more of a mystery/adventure with just a touch of romance. All if the story lines are tied up but these are great characters that the authors could quite easily breathe life into some other time down the road and we would be quite happy to visit with them. Quite an enjoyable series.
I read this book in 3 days. I had a hard time putting it down. It felt like you were in the story with the people that were in it. I felt like I had read the story before. But I looked at all the books I had and I didn't have it. It stayed right along with the first two in the series. It was good way to end the series. I'm happy that Jordana and Rich found each other in the end. They were suppose to be together. As always Tracie Peterson writes a very good book. Keep up the with the good books!! I'm looking forward to maybe a series with RICH AND JORDANA AS THE MAIN PEOPLE IN THE BOOK. I'M kind of sorry the series ended. I'm happy to have another series finished. Now I move onto the next series to finish
You will want to read Judith Pella & Tracie Peterson's Ribbons of Steel Series first as it is of the parents and then Jordana and Victoria as children in Book 3, although Book 1 of Ribbons of Steel Series was a bit too filled with historical references for me at the time I read it ... I can appreciate it more looking back at it... and I positively loved the series!
I love anything that Judith Pella and Tracie Peterson write. Their stories are always well developed with unexpected twists and turns, as well as historical accuracy that enhance the setting. The characters are human and relatable. I recommend this whole series!
The third and final book in the series,Jordan's finally met her match, Rich was a fitting husband to be. Would like to see their story continue..
This story was historical, exciting, and funny. I was on the edge of my seat. My heart and mind was laughing and thinking how awesome our God is. It's a must read. The whole series is worth five stars.
I absolutely loved all three of the books in this series! The characters were fun-loving and enjoyable. They all were amazing in their own special way and the problems and feelings they faced were very realistic! I love that these books talked about God and the writer seemed to have very good views on the subject.......I only wish there were more books in the series!
