The Gospel According to Andrew Reviews
First let me say that I am not a religious zealot by any stretch of the imagination. I am a spiritual eclectic by nature (notwithstanding a childhood of Protestant teachings), who has always thought that Jesus was a remarkable man and gifted teacher during a unique time in the history of the planet.
I genuinely enjoyed the book. I was certainly not aware that Paul receives so much of the credit in the formulation of "mainstream" Christians' understanding of Jesus. I have never considered the Gospels with an eye to contrasting them with Paul but I hope to do so in the future.
