Tablet Weaving Reviews
Given the glorious photography in Ann Sutton's OTHER weaving books, I was very disappointed in this book. Most of the photographs are in black and white, but they are of colored bands, which makes it hard to tell which color is which, as they are just subtle shades of grey. The paper is not great for reproducing photographs. There are only two color photographs. One is of a very 1970's era maxi skirt made up of tablet woven bands. Very hippy dippy. Most of the finished projects are also very dated looking. The patterns themselves are not very inspirational. The book is also small. It's about 8" square.
