Sleuth or Dare #2: Sleepover Stakeout Reviews
I'm reviewing these three books together because they go together. Each book is a continuation of the previous ones, which I like. It makes it seem more realistic. Norah and Darcy are best friends. Despite some differences they complement each other nicely. Norah loves astronomy and shrugs off the title of 'nerd' believing that intelligence is something worth sharing. Darcy loves black and purple and crime shows, she also has great skills on the computer that she sometimes misuses.
I bought these for my 12-year-old daughter. They were a little below her level but she absolutely loved them. A quick easy read. They are also AR books.
This book is about a case in which best friends Norah and Darcy are eager to solve.Their classmate Maya is hearing strange noises on the baby monitor ,which is kept because of her little brother,Rishi. This book was really a great book but one thing really bothers me a lot. This book is sorted in the middle grade. But,the print is quite big and there are barely enough pages.one thing i like about the book is that each person has an personality which suites them and their attitude. But to an overall average the book would score an A.
Sleepover Stakeout by Kim Harrngton is really good and interesting book.
Bought because an eighth grade student requested this for my library. She finished it in two days, as she loved it.
I really like this book with all the twist and turns. It completely took me by surprise. I you love this addictive , spine tingling book as much as I did or more. I hope that there is a fourth book coming out soon. It took me by surprise that there was only three books in the whole series. I was really looking forward to reading the 4th one.
great book daughter loved it.
Partners in Crime. Perfect for middle school kids. It's so hard to find a great series for this age group, but friendship and the horrible feeling you get when you like a boy really gets my kids wanting to read more.
