Who Was Elvis Presley? Reviews
I bought these for my third grade classroom. They are great for the biography genre and then to use for report writing. The three years I've used them so far the kids LOVED them. Easy for their reading levels, informative, and people they have heard of in their lives. They would read their own and then read other that they had heard of. Could have left these books out 1/2 year and they would have still been reading them.
This book is perfect for learning the basic facts. My daughter is doing a biography day at school. She said she needed an Elvis book. We borrowed some from the library, but they were a bit too much for her. This book is perfect. It has a timeline of the world vs Elvis' world also, which is pretty nifty.
This is just what my granddaughter wanted for her birthday. She just loves these "Who Was______" books.
School your kids on the greats- they’ll love it. Plus, you can avoid the kiddie tunes altogether. Win-win
This series of books has captivated my grandson. He loves learning about people he has heard of, and is always looking forward to the next one.
My nephew needed a book for a history project so my sister asked me to order this book for him. I was impressed that they kept it on a 4th grade level without getting too much into Elvis’s problems later in life. He enjoyed the book and I would recommend it to anyone who needed it
The "Who Was" books are so much fun for elementary age kids. Very helpful for book reports!
love this - so sad still that elvis has left the building!
