K is for Kite: God's Springtime Alphabet Reviews
I use this book for a spring time lesson for pre-school bible class. The kids love it! They pick the animals out on every page. I like that is relates everything in spring to what God has done for us.
I have a lot of grand kids , so I had my daughters make up a wish list on Amazon for them .. it made things a lot less crazy this year.for me.
"From sweet April showers that make our hearts sing, may you feel every blessing of God's gentle spring." K is for Kite has to be my favorite of Kathy-jo Wargin's God's Seasonal Alphabet books so far. While we love P is for Pumpkin, F is for Fireflies, and S is for Snowman, K is for Kite is the best. The illustrations from Kim Gatto and fun and breezing and perfect for this weather. The verse on each page to accompany each letter is delightful and fun to read. I wouldn't be opposed to having these be memorized by a preschooler and used as alphabet flashcards.
K is for Kite God's Springtime Alphabet by Kathy-jo Wargin is such a wonderful, colorful book. I really love it. Alphabet books are fantastic for young children, but one that brings God into the picture is just priceless. It's a really good size, over 9x11 and the pages are bright, colorful and the children, animals etc.. all have such sweet expressions and it is a hardcover book. The illustrator Kim Gatto does such a fantastic job. I would like to see more of her illustrations in the future.
K Is for Kite: God's Springtime Alphabet, written by Kathy-jo Wargin, is a picture book that illustrates each letter of the alphabet with something relating to springtime and to the concept of a world made by God. The author provides both a word and a short poem for each letter.
