Protein Purification Techniques: A Practical Approach (Practical Approach Series) Reviews
Very comprehensive text on approached for protein purification starting from "what do I do with my cell pellet" through all the possible types of purification one might do. Example protocols are included throughout. Not necessarily a substitute for someone showing you how to do some of the protocols, but detailed enough that a reasonably skilled scientist should be able to start using more sophisticated protein purification after consulting this book.
Books for kids in college. They both graduated so I suppose the books are OK.
Again, this is my 5th book I have purchased through amazon, and every one of them has saved me money (and an awful lot in a couple of cases) and been in excellent condition.
I was hoping for more detail, but it seems to be a good book for those just learning about the topic of protein purification.
